Portuguese cooking starts with olive oil, so that’s where we started too. Our extra virgin olive oil is cold pressed from carefully selected groves, with low natural acidity and a flavour profile that works both for everyday cooking and generous petiscos: the Portuguese answer to tapas.

How it all started
Frankly Portugal is a small, independent project dedicated to honest Portuguese food. Shaped by growing up at Quinta de Sant’Ana, among people who grow, press, ferment, and preserve with care, it comes from a deep respect for flavour, land, and proper craft.
We select products we would serve at our own table. No shortcuts, no inflated stories. Just authentic ingredients, thoughtful methods, and producers who truly care. Everything is chosen with a farmer’s eye and a host’s intuition.
